One of our clients is a leading global financial institution that has large equities trading teams across APAC. The business is looking to drive growth in its regional front office equities support team.
Salary: Negotiable
Key responsibilities:
- Provide front-line technical support to the business through troubleshooting and resolving issues with trading systems and connectivity to exchanges
- Monitor and maintain trading systems to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with traders and development teams to identify and implement improvements to systems and processes
About you:
- 5+ years of experience in application support for an equities trading team (Australian cash equities preferred)
- Strong knowledge of equities order flow
- Proficient in using trading systems such as IRESS, Fidessa, FIX, and OMS
- Strong scripting skills in Perl, Powershell, Python or similar language
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
