We are seeking an experienced Senior Angular Developer / Software Engineer to join a large-scale digital delivery environment, contributing to the design, development and support of complex enterprise applications.
This is a senior, hands-on development role suited to someone with strong Angular and Node.js expertise, solid software engineering fundamentals, and experience providing technical leadership within Agile delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of complex software solutions using Angular, Node.js and modern development technologies.
- Provide technical leadership across analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop and review software and technical designs for complex enterprise applications.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend appropriate solution approaches.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve complex Angular and Node.js application issues.
- Provide specialist technical advice and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in application upgrades, patching, performance testing and production support activities.
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Support software configuration, integration, build and deployment activities.
- Contribute to CI/CD, release management and deployment automation.
- Work collaboratively within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
- Ensure solutions meet relevant development, security, testing and quality standards.
Must Have:
- 5+ years’ experience with Angular and Node.js, enterprise application development, software design, systems integration and APIs.
- Experience across testing, CI/CD, deployment, source control, secure development practices and Agile delivery.
- Experience in taking technical responsibility across the full software development lifecycle and leading software development activities and supporting other developers.
- Expertise in designing complex software applications, components and systems and evaluating development methods, tools and technologies and recommending improvements.
- Solid experience in Leading or supporting release, deployment and software configuration processes.
