Infrastructure Project Manager – 12 Month Contract
Location: Upper North Shore, Sydney
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of critical IT infrastructure initiatives, including networking, unified communications, and data migration.
The role requires a strong mix of project management discipline and technical understanding, with a focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to organisational objectives. This position will work closely with technical specialists, vendors, and stakeholders across the business, with particular focus on network transformation, Teams Rooms rollout, IP telephony, and SD-WAN migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across networking, unified communications, and security.
- Coordinate the rollout of Teams Rooms, IP telephony, SD-WAN, and firewall upgrades.
- Oversee data migration and integration to Juniper platforms.
- Partner with engineers, security teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
- Manage project scope, risks, timelines, and budgets, delivering to agreed milestones.
Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience as an Infrastructure or IT Project Manager.
- Strong background in networking and infrastructure transformation projects.
- Proven vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) desirable.
